I have a problem on a peplink 380 that does not turn on.
is connected via speedfusion with several remote routers spread across Italy.
I ordered a new peplink but I have to reconnect remote routers because the serial number has changed.
I should physically reach all routers and reprogram them locally.
Is there a way to avoid it?
Yes. Don’t use the serial number. Use the PepVPN Local ID instead. Then new B380 can just be set with old B380 ID.
IN this case you could set the local ID of the new B380 to be the serial of the old B380.

hello, I have the same problem, but the device ID field of the new B380 does not accept strings in serial number format. Is it necessary to create a device ID common to all the devices connected in VPN speedfusion in advance?
If this was not done before the failure, is there any way to recover the VPN connections without physically reaching all the remote routers?
