Hello! I have a question that I am not able to test in the lab for a while. Please see the attached diagram.
If the link between sites A and C is down, can devices on LAN A still reach devices on LAN C “through” Site B? Is this default behavior with SpeedFusion VPN or will we have to add routes/extra configuration to make this work?
Hi Luke,
Speedfusion uses OSPF to handle routing and so this will work as expected with the dynamic routing allowing all sites to talk even if a link is down as you show in the diagram.
You also have the option to disable this behavior in the OSPF and RIP settings by enabling “SpeedFusion VPN Route Isolation”
@Luke_Escude : @James_Webster5240 gave you the right answer. I’ll mention one more thing. When you set it up, you will probably want to go to Advanced → SpeedFuision VPN → SPeedFusion VPM Profile → Cost and set this parameter. The value you set there will determine which path will be the priority. It works well.
