Hi all,
We have explained to our customers that it is not recommended to rely on whitelisting speedfusion IPs because they can change at any time. Customers are usually fine with that so they turn back the question into why can’t we provide the FQDNs so they can whitelist that in their firewall? Looking at the current list of servers at:
https://download.peplink.com/resources/ip_addresses.json
I am unable to figure out how to turn these hostnames into FQDNs I can provide our customers.
“hostnames”: [
“SFC-AMS-013”,
“SFC-AMS-014”,
“SFC-AMS-015”,
“SFC-AMS-016”,
“SFC-ATL-017”,
“SFC-ATL-018”,
“SFC-ATL-019”,
“SFC-ATL-020”,
“SFC-ATL-021”,
“SFC-BLR-013”,
“SFC-BLR-014”,
“SFC-BLR-015”,
“SFC-CHI-013”,
“SFC-CHI-014”,
“SFC-CHI-018”,
“SFC-CHI-019”,
“SFC-CHI-020”,
“SFC-CHI-022”,
“SFC-DFW-025”,
I tried the obvious approach of simply adding peplink.com to the end but it did not resolve to anything. Can somebody please advise?
Thanks,
Ricardo
