SpeedFusion Connect UI Walkthrough

The SpeedFusion Connect app has been officially launched on both Android and IOS for those needing basic configuration options. Since it is a standalone system, it does not require you to use InControl 2.
Let’s have a look at the SF Connect App UI.
Firstly you will need to register a Peplink ID to access Peplink services. After you login successfully, you will see the below:

Marked in red is the access to the main menu where you can select your Peplink devices, set notifications, or perform firmware upgrades.
In the blue marked area, it shows the device’s current SFC Protect (SpeedFusion Cloud) and SFC 5G/LTE remaining quota and expiry date. If you click here, it will jump to the right screen where you can purchase the data plans.

If you are managing multiple routers, you can use [Select Router] to choose which device you want to check the remaining data as well as edit/remove the router.

The [Settings] includes [Push Notifications] and [Firmware Upgrade].
We can decide to send mobile notifications under which conditions and when to run the firmware upgrade.

When you select a device, you can use automatic select to find the nearest cloud from your IP source or to pick any cloud servers you want (to build the tunnel) and manage them with the virtualized display.

After selecting the cloud servers, we can pair the LAN device and the cloud server directly without complex outbound policies or network protocol knowledge. Just follow your instinct.

If you would like to base your SpeedFusion Connect on applications, we provide the most popular applications as selectable options. You can just select an application and then bind it with the cloud server then the system will do the work that will fit every LAN device using MS365 (in this case). We can configure multiple applications at the same time if their destination cloud server is the same.

For the reporting functionality, we can see each WAN quality in the specific device and data usage (device overall or specific LAN client) and the usage support [Total], [Upload], [Download] views.

For some situations, we need to share the user account with other people and let them configure their own SF connect settings but not on the data plan. In that case, we can share up to 5 users on each device.
Under the user setting, the user can see which Peplink device he is able to manage, configure the cloud server, and make some assignments about the traffic flow.
