Spectrum WAN config

Hi I’ve been happily using a Pepwave Surf Soho router with an ARRIS SB6183 modem for 2 year in my non-profit. Part of that involves Veterans PTSD support and now raising PTSD pups. SPECTRUM did something to break the Soho WAN connection. Also the 7.0 firmware fails to load with a “bad Image”, but passes the verification ph
ase

the arris works fine on a lan connection to my macpro.
please help me/us
rev tom

We currently have two images for the SOHO. Please check the Status tab for the hardware revision. When you go to the firmware download page please make sure that you are downloading the firmware hardware image.

Are you able to put a “dumb” switch between the Balance 20 and the modem and see if that allows the Balance 20 to see the internet connection?

also dont have any dumb switch
can you suggest any network commands to run
thanks

any other thoughts???

Zack.

there is a problem with my Surf Soho HW1 and the 6.350 upgrade with the WAN Page inputs

picture file 1 shows what the top of the WAN config page looks like

picture file 2 shows what my current Pepware WAN config page is. THEY ARE DIFFERENT I can't input the modem or gateway ip addresses

I’ve tried reimaging my unit to no avail

PLEASE HELP

Sorry, actually, the latest firmware revision supported by the Surf Soho (Hardware Revision 1) is 6.3.5
The Surf Soho MK3 (HW 1) can take the newer 7.x firmware.

Which also explains why the manual doesn’t match. Please try Surf Soho 6.3.3 Manual

If you’re trying to set gateway addresses, I suggest you change the connection method from DHCP
