Special characters in WPA2/WPA3 Shared Key

I need to connect to a Wi-Fi WAN which uses special characters (double/single quotes) in its Shared Key. The peplink Pepwave MAX Transit (Firmware 8.4.1 build 5629) presents the error message:
WPA Shared Key must not contain the characters " and '.
This makes it impossible to connect to this Wi-Fi WAN. This is a limitation as other devices accept these special characters as valid.

@Joern_Diedrichsen ,

Just to clarify the “Single Quote” is supported.

Only the “Double Quote” and the “Grave Accent” is not supported.

The Engineering team will study the feasibility for the double quote request ^^

The Engineering team able to create a special firmware to support the special character “double quote” for the WiFi connection share key.

Firmware 8.4.1s166 (Balance One/B210HW4/B310HW4/Transit/MAX700HW3/HD2 Mini/HD4:
https://download.peplink.com/firmware/plb1/fw-b1_210hw4_310hw4_br1ent_transit_m700hw3_hd2mini_hd4-8.4.1s166-build5668.bin

Tentatively the Engineering team will will try to include the improvement for the coming 8.5.0 firmware.
