I’m wondering how to set up the SOHO to use with an external hard drive plugged into the USB/WAN port to be able to see it on my Roku TV?
Here are my stats
Hardware Revision 1
Firmware 6.3.3 build 1068
PepVPN Version 5.0.0
Modem Support Version 1019 (Modem Support List)
Host Name surf-soho-0172
And here is my dashboard with the hard drive plugged into it via USB

The USB port is to support cellular USB modems as another WAN path:
So it won’t support a hard drive added to it to use with DNLA? In any port?
No, the USB port is to support cellular USB modems as another WAN path.
So is there any way for the router to support DNLA?
DNLA Certified devices can communicate over the network. But the Surf Soho is not a Digital Media Server that will read media content from USB Drives. The USB port purpose is mentioned before. The router is focused on Networking functions.
