Hello,
We have a client looking to setup snmpv3 and we are wondering what version of SHA and AES is being used by Peplink.
Not sure if it changes anything but device is currently on 8.5.3
Kind regards,
Maciej

Hi… @Maciej_Rolecki
Looking at the device…
You can select SHA or MD5.
and after choosing MD5/SHA you can select DES or AES
But… not exactly what a version of it.
Google it… This is the answer.
Peplink devices running standard firmware implement SHA-1 for SNMPv3 authentication. When configuring your Network Management System (NMS), you will typically select SHA (or SHA-1) along with either AES (128-bit) or DES for privacy encryption. Peplink does not currently support SHA-256 or SHA-512 for SNMPv3.
Hi Marcelo,
The version is exactly what I’m looking for and I don’t see it written anywhere.
It seems to be SHA1 + AES128
