Hi,

Can anyone from Peplink tell me please if there are any plans to improve the feature set of the SIM Injector?

Specifically I’d like to be able to control roaming countries, bands, protocols etc, just like on the built in SIM slots A and B. The latest FW version of the SIM Injector is slightly better than early versions in that there is a checkbox to switch roaming on and off. But that’s about it.

Is there a technical reason why when the SIM is remote, the modem can’t be controlled in this way?

Hi Jonathan,

Yes there are plans to improve functionality and add blocking the MCC codes. We plan to have it in the next major release 9.0.0.
