SIM Injector compatibility with B One 5G and Balance 1350 EC

Good morning everyone,

we have an important question regarding compatibility within Peplink devices.

Our customer currently operates around 20 B One 5G units and 5 Balance 1350 EC devices. The plan is to scale this environment to more than 100 devices in the near future.

The customer has recently learned about the Peplink SIM Injectors and is interested in using them. However, we could not find any clear documentation confirming that the SIM-BK8-4E-56V or SIM-MINI-8-1E are compatible with the existing B One 5G and Balance 1350 EC devices.

Do you already have practical experience with these SIM Injectors in combination with the mentioned hardware, or can you confirm whether this setup is officially supported?

Hi Tobias,

The B One 5G Routers are compatible with remoteSIM (Sim Injector) From Hardware revision 2 or later according to the datasheet page 4: LINK

The Balance 1350 EC doesn’t have any 5G Modems untill you synergize any 5G modem to the Balance 1350 EC. In that case if there is a device synergized that supports RemoteSIM then you could use the SIM Injector.
