I upgraded my Pepwave MAX BR1 Pro 5G to the latest firmware, 8.3.0 build 5229, and everything was working well. I had to reboot a couple days later and now the signal strength metrics are gone. The only thing I see is…
5G Band n41 (2500 MHz)
RSSI: -67dBm
The RSRQ, SINR, and RSRP are missing completed. I had a monitoring script connecting to the API to collect these metrics and that’s broken now too (excerpt below). Not sure what’s happened. Are these metrics no longer supported/viewable in the latest firmware version?

have you upgraded the cellular module firmware under the support.cgi page as well?
that fixed it, thank you!
I spoke too soon. I have the latest firmware on everything and I am still having issues with the cellular metrics. Typically, I just reboot a few times and eventually the metrics show correctly. However, that “fix” does not appear to be working correctly anymore. I have rebooted several times between yesterday and today with no luck - the cellular metrics are missing. I’m starting to think this is a firmware bug.
As a follow up, I did try to use the older 8.2.x firmware on a reboot without success - the metrics still do not show up. Could the Pepwave be faulty?
Spoke with Peplink support. This was caused by a bug in the firmware. They provided me with a new version that solved the issue. Thanks Peplink!
