Hi fellow bonders!
Im doing quite a few livestreams in Norway, and Im getting some mixed results using SFC.
Equipment:
- B One 5G
- Starlink Standard (Cabled in WAN1)
- Starlink Mini (Cabled in WAN2)
- Cellular 5G in SIM1
Im sending a RTMP stream from an ATEM Video encoder.
Approx 6Mbps upload.
Ive set MTU to 1500 on both Starlinks. Set in bypass mode.
No problem with using regular failover without SFC. Peplink prioritizes ususally the 5G connection. But I want to utilize bonding to spread traffic across all my connected WANs.
Ive tested SFC using nearest server (Usually Oslo or Stockholm).
3-4 different profiles Ive tested after reading tips here on the forum.
WANSMOOTHING
FEC
Standard
I have stable connecetion according to Incontrol on all 3 WANs
However, sometimes the stream seams to get congested. (The ATEM starts buffering til the point it stutters online). See the bottom line.
When monitoring the SFC VPN it seems like the traffic outbound is around 50% of what is pushed out of the ATEM. 6Mbps → 3Mbps.
This happens also when doing WANSmoothing or Standard profile.
But NOT always. Thats what drives me nutz.
Ive checked the whitepapers and the forum, youtube and all dark corners. But I dont seem to be to crack the code.
Tried restarting the ATEM, tried rebooting the Peplink.
I dont know where to go from here , please advice ![]()
Best regards
Bernt
