We are working with a MAX-Br1 with a situation where we have to set a static ip address on the Wi-Fi wan interface. I see the “Connection Method” with the Option “static”, but when I set it, and fill in our information, and save, it will revert back to DHCP. I have tried while the Wireless network is connected, and disconnected with no difference. No matter what I do, it always reverts back to DHCP. I have tried directly on the modem, and through incontrol.
Has anyone had this issue and figured out how to correct it?
So I have been able to replicate this issue across 4 other Max BR1s. Everyone where I try to set a static ip address on the Wi-Fi WAN interface, it will always revert back to DHCP.
Firmware 8.0.2, I am going to upgrade to 8.1.0 as it appears that the static ip address information is handled differently. Will update tomorrow.
I don’t see the reported issue in 8.1.0. Please find the screenshot below:

Yes I can confirm 8.1.0RC2 does not have the issue. I was able to connect to a wireless network and set a static ip address on the new firmware. Thank you
