The way InControl2 email notifications currently work, you must subscribe to both Up and Down events, not either/or. For some of our partners, this generates more emails than necessary – if they plan to investigate any Down event that appears, Up events are just extra noise in their inbox.
Please consider allowing us to subscribe to up/down events separately. Here’s a mockup of how this could look:
Ideally, this would be applicable not only to Device Online/Offline, but also for LAN/WAN Up/Down, SpeedFusion Up/Down, etc.

@Andrew_Zachow ,
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We appreciate your suggestion, and the Engineering team will review the feasibility. We will keep you updated as soon as more information is available.
Initially, it was found that many users monitor both the WAN down and WAN up events together to avoid false alarms. For example, if a WAN goes down briefly due to scheduled maintenance or a temporary network issue, the corresponding WAN up event confirms that the connection has recovered within an acceptable timeframe. In such cases, users can safely ignore the temporary WAN down notification.
