SDX Pro - Deep Packet Inspection Options?

I am a home network user. I’ve got a SDX Pro for my network. Is there an ability to see websites people are visiting from my home network? Does Deep Packet Inspection exist?

The hard way is to enable URL logging, and setup a syslog server. That will show every URL accessed.

The easier way is to use a service like DNSFilter, and you may even be able to run their relay on the SDX via docker. It’s an inexpensive service and will give you really nice comprehensive details and reports. They pair well together and it’s information is much more immediately useful than trawling through syslogs.

One way to do this is to navigate to Status → Active Sessions. These pages will show you “what is connected to what” and allow you to search and sort.

You can turn on DPI in Incontrol2 (on the device view, hit “edit” next to information, up the top) and then view DPI reports in Incontrol2 (under reports menu). Click on the web entry to get a breakdown within the category.
