Had long chats with multiple techs at Verizon. My max br1 5G is not now approved after last update of firmware. Troubleshooting this problem shows signal too router, but no IP address being picked up. It keeps connecting then, then when IP is not given It then goes back to retrying. This device has been working great for two plus years. What changed?
I’ve seen SmartCheck failures cause a lot of my 4G devices to have the same issue.
I’d try clicking on the cellular connection, scrolling to the bottom and under Health Check Settings change it from SmartCheck to Disabled and see if it connects.
For anyone else wondering, this setting is found via remote admin to the device, Network tab, WAN sidebar choice and then the Cellular device within the WAN Connection Status table.
