Routing protocol preference

Hi guy’s

I was wondering if you could share the local routing protocol preference, between SF (OSPF) and BGP and which one gets priority in the event of overlapping routes.

I don’t believe there is a way to configure this at the moment but is that something that is coming in future firmware?

OSPF has higher preference than BGP and this is not configurable now.
You need a “switch” to toggle preference between OSPF/BGP?

Hi Kenny,

A “toggle” would be really useful for a couple of projects we are working on at the moment. We are needing to redirect some traffic from a pepvpn tunnel to a Firewall which is supplying routes via BGP.

Also can i check that route learned by ebgp and ibgp are both lower preference than ospf?

Both iBGP and eBGP have lower preference than OSPF.
