We have recently upgraded a Balance 30 LTE (HW1) to the latest 7.1.0 firmware on the basis that from firmware 7.0.1 the following improved feature was added which is a requirement as part of the company’s security policy.
[Router Security] When a user has failed a specified number of
authentication attempts with the same IP address, InControl will
send an email alert.
We get emails when someone has successfully logged in which is somewhat useful but nothing when we attempt multiple logins that fail. The log shows the suspension ok but no alert.
Anyone else tried to get this going, am I missing something?
