Per NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and CMMC, Network devices such as routers are required to display a notice prior to logon that indicates the acceptable use and monitoring of the device. Lawsuits have been thrown out due to this not being in place and it presents a compliance issue.
- Please create a text box in the configuration screen called “logon message” that can be filled out by the administrator and will display on the Peplink router login screen to allow us to comply with this requirement. SAMPLE message below.
