I have a MAX-BR2-35DC and FusionHub connected via a SpeedFusion VPN. I have a public IP for the WAN interface and the LAN interface is setup via DHCP to a private network with an outgoing gateway. I am trying to route all of the SpeedFusion traffic out via the LAN and that gateway.
When “Route SpeedFusion VPN traffic to LAN” is turned off I can access things on the internet. The FusionHub can also ping the gateway on the LAN interface. As soon as I check the box to route all of the traffic to the LAN, I can’t access anything. Is there anything I could be missing?
Hi, Andrew…
Sorry… maybe I lost something…
You have MAX-BR2 < connected > FusionHUb… okay
So… at LAN of your MAX-BR2, you want all the LAN traffic, will be forward to your FusionHUB, using the SpeedFusion, between both " devices "?
and at the BR2 SpeedFusion settings you select
" sample "
Following this sample… all the LAN traffic from my peplink device, will be forward to a remote fusionhub.
Yes that is how I have it setup, including the “Send All Traffic To” part.
Sorry to ask…
But at fusionhub side… it is " off/blank " correct?
"No SpeedFusion VPN profile selected ".
So… forward lan traffic from br2, going to fusionhub, using speedfusion, it is not working…
AT fusionhub side… do you have a firewall rules?
A PC connected at lan of br2 and just this pc, have a outgoing rule, force the data traffic to go at fusionhub, using speedfusion… what it happen, when you try to ping the wan gateway of your fusionhub?
I have the firewall pretty wide open. From the fusionhub I can ping my gateway and a machine on my network. From that machine I can ping the gateway and fusionhub.
Hi…
and about DNS?
Try a traceroute? and print it here? Please?
I decided to redo the whole setup.
This time I used incontrol to set it up, and things are working. Not sure why it wasn’t before.
Thank you for your help.
