Hi, we’ve set up our Peplink Balance One for Incontrol 2. Incontrol 2 admin is enabled in the settings and the unit’s serial number was recognized and the device appears in the list, the only issue is that it is being flagged for being out of warranty.
However the Remote Web Admin option in the Settings menu is greyed out. This is our first experience with Incontrol 2, what needs to be done to enable this function? Is a service plan required? (The ultimate goal here is to have 2FA access to administer the router.)
Doing some more nosing around the issue appears to be that a device out of warranty requires a subscription for full use of InControl 2. It appears the Balance One qualifies for this, so we’ll go ahead and sign up.

Thanks for posting this. It took me forever to figure out what I needed to do to enable the remote web admin. You would think Peplink would have a notice right on the page that a subscription is needed to enable the remote web admin. Not rocket science
