Remote Assistance: Device Connector 300M

I have a Device Connector 300M in router mode (I am new to this device). The user manual touches on the remote assistance feature but only states that it can be turned on and off.

Can someone explain how the remote assistance feature works?

The remote assistance feature will establish a connection to our server if we need to access the device for troubleshooting.

Is there a way I can access the device for remote troubleshooting?

You would need to configure it for WAN side access.

Can you elaborate? I apologize for not knowing more but I cannot seem to set this up correctly and I cannot find it in any of the documentation.

Settings –> Web Administration –> Under “Web Access Settings”
