Our local ISP binds the IP address they issue to the MAC address of the WAN port for 30 mins. If we swap interfaces or devices without first releasing that IP address, the connection does not work until the IP is renewed at the next 30 minute interval. Most routers have a function which allows a manual release / renew of the WAN IP however, I don’t see this in the Peplink… I’ve checked the Balance 20 and Balance 30 models. Is there a way to do this?

There is currently no way to do a manual release on the Balance. If the other device allows you could set the MAC address to that of the current interface. Sometimes referred to as MAC cloning.
