Quick questions on QoS

  1. In QoS application prioritization, is the mid-level Normal the default? I don’t want to define a bunch of applications at “normal” if it’s the same as not defining them.

  2. when i choose a category under Supported Applications, say, All database applications, how do I know what these predefined database applications are? I ask because if you click on “All database application”, the drop-down list only shows mySQL and PostgreSQL. It’s hard to imagine that regular SQL apps (e.g. MS-SQL and Oracle), as predominant as they are, are not predefined here. I just want to be sure I don’t have to custom-define TCP port 1433 for SQL myself, if it’s covered by choosing “All Database Application”.
