All types of business as well as health care providers are practically requiring clients to use zoom. Checking the zoom.us web site lists dozens of active IP’s and ports that must be open to run a conference call with zoom. I’m not keen on opening up the whole firewall to run this “service”. Clients connect via WiFi to my SOHO router, which is connected to the local ISP. What approach makes sense?
don’t change any of your security for zoom. If your users are just attending meetings - it is just regular outbound web traffic. If you are hosting an on-premise zoom server or one of their VOIP packages – that is another story. But, if it is just attending meetings – you should be fine with simply allowing the outbound traffic.
