In the recent Peplink University video, the B One was presented as replacing the Surf SOHO and Balance 20x. Is a system config file from the Surf SOHO or the B20x compatible with the new B One? That is, can owners of the older models easily move their current configuration to the newer B One?
We partners have not been provided information on that, Michael, but based on recent experience, I’d say the answer is “no” – sadly. There is an easy way to convert older devices, such as 210 → 305 or 380 → 1350 but so far as I know these capabilities have been abandoned. (You are not the first to ask – we really need this.)
Perhaps someone from Peplink can correct my understanding on this [hopefully.]
