Why does the MAX BR1 MINI CORE HW3 only allow a maximum of five (5) IPSEC VPN Site to Site connections?

I am not a Peplink engineer… but… look at the datasheet of the device… Look at the performance with Speedfusion with cryptography… The CPU of unit it is not strong enough to handle more than five cryptography sessions and don’t have a co-processor for VPN!
Well that is disappointing to hear. I was hoping to be able to use this Peplink model without the need for another device connected to it, but will have to continue using the Synology RT2600AC for the IPSEC VPN Site to Site connections, it will support up to 20 connections and I need at least 16 connections for my specific application… I thank you for the response and information.
