Qualcomm DSDA Gen 2 (Dual Data)

When the next generation Snapdragon X75 chipsets make their way into modems.
Will Peplink implement dual data for the dual sims?
Will the Transit Duo continue to exist or will it be phased out with a newer BR1 5G X75 Dual Active Data?

Hi Kevin,

there are some open questions about the DSDA. For instance will it allow to connect to different carriers at the same time. It was not answered in the topic. Very likely that this will not be supported as you would need to operate at two different carrier bands or spectrum slices simultaneously and I really doubt it will be supported by the modem. One of the advantages of the Transit Duo is two connect to two different carriers so that if one is not available or congested or you still have connectivity.

Hey @Giedrius

It supports dual simultaneous data on separate carriers.
With that being said.
How will it fit into the BR1 <> Transit Duo offering space.

Hi Kevin,

this is interesting. I wonder how they implemented this. In any case if that is true, then our single modem routers work like dual, while HD4 will work like HD8

Thanks for sharing!
