I purchased a new B One today. Awesome router!
I added the serial # to IC2, and it states that the PrimeCare Expiry Date is 8 months from today.

Guessing you did not acquire it from a Peplink Partner or the expiration date would be correct. If you did, just let them know and they’ll fix it. If not, and you bought it new from an authorized seller of some sort (e.g., Amazon), I’d submit a ticket to Peplink with a copy of the transaction documentation and ask that the start date be adjusted to the date of the sale.
I bought it from seller 5G Store through Amazon – both Amazon and 5G Store are on the Buy Now link on the peplink website B One page.
Will do. Thanks!
If I recall well, when you add a device you bought on Amazon on IC2, there is a field somewhere where you can enter the date you purchased (or put in service – I don’t recall exactly) the device. When you enter this it rebases your primecare and other licenses to that date. At least it did for me on a B20x. Maybe it is different for the BOne or if you bought through 5G on Amazon (different than from the Peplink store on Amazon).
Frankly, I’d just call 5G and talk with them. They can fix it.
