PPPoE-Modem - Additional IP

Hi!

I need to use external DSL-modems on the WAN-ports of the peplink-devices. For dialup, they use PPPoE.

Now, I need a possibility to assign an additional IP-Address on the interface to see debug-informations like:

Is there any possibility to add a “debug-ip-config”?

Are you looking at the PPPoE Management IP ?

I had tested and the Management IP address will not advertise to remote devices via PepVPN/SpeedFusion.

My DSL-modem needs VLAN-7 for PPPoE and VLAN-1 for management. Is this possible anyway?

The management IP traffics is untagged .

Hi!

I don’t think so. I tried to set VLAN to 7 to use the right VLAN for DSL, then, management-IP seems to use VLAN-7, too.
