Power Bank for B One 5G Questions

I’ve got a Peplink B One 5G router on the way. Id line to be able to run it off a power bank/battery. Im looking at this one:

Can someone confirm my thinking? It looks like it can power the 12v 3A needed by the router using a male USB-C to female Molex 4-pin adapter? And do you know where I can get such an animal, preferably without making it myself? What might be a better option?

Hi,

thats easy, order it at your Peplink Partner

Hi @jakesterz

Have you managed to test this ?

Inside the pdf file they said that we need at least a 12V outbout power bank, but i can’t find a 12/15V capable power bank that looks like the one in the pdf file.

They are more bigger.

I went MacGyver and used a PowerConverter to use any portable battery 1. USB C to Barrel, and the 2. Barrel to 4 Pin Molex to obtain the same results: The BR1 Pro takes 9V min, just like the Cradlepoint, however, DIGI is power hungry and takes 19v Amazon.com: FARSENSE USB C to DC Adapter,Barrel PD Trigger Cable(3.3ft) with 10 Connector Tips,USB to DC Power Cable can Switch Voltage by Pressing The Key,Support LED Display Voltage : Electronics

One way to do this is to get a USB-C PD capable power bank and then get a USB-C to DC power cable of the appropriate voltage (12 or 15V). These are cables that are setup to always request a fixed voltage from the PD source. Cables are ~$10-15.

I use a D-Tap to 4 pin cable (We build our own calbes) to use a V-Mount Battery, then you have 12-16V. With many USBs you only have 5V
