Any documentation on the USB WAN feature?
Hi,
Here most important details about the Data over USB feature:
- The USB interface uses the RNDIS driver, which is compatible with Windows and Linux platforms. macOS does not natively support RNDIS.
- You can connect the POTS Adapter to the B One router via the USB-C interface. This way B One gets an additional cellular WAN connection + VoLTE functionality.
- To enable the feature, you will need to connect to POTS Adapter WEB UI and enable IP Passthrough option:
IMPORTANT: If the data throughput exceeds 20 Mbps, voice transmission quality might be affected due to the device’s limited CPU performance.
Another thing worth mentioning:
- The POTS Adapter comes with a Peplink eSIM preloaded with 1GB of data. This enables you to add the device to InControl, allowing for remote configuration. You can also access the device’s web configuration interface using the Remote Web Admin feature in InControl.
Note: Peplink eSIM supports data only. To enable the VoLTE feature, the SIM card plan must include both data and voice services.
