Possible to backup to Time Capsule via Time Machine through VPN?

Hi! I have an Apple Time Capsule (TC) at the office connected directly to a Balance One via Ethernet and DHCP Reservation. I can connect to the office remotely via VPN Type L2TP with IPsec, ping the TC and reach other devices on the same subnet of the LAN.

Is it possible to enable Time Machine backup remotely through the VPN?

As long as both devices are reachable to each other, I don’t think there is an issue. Anyway, throughput is another concern you may need to take into the consideration.
