Haven’t posted in awhile. I have a Sus-Soho-T router that I have dedicated on a piece of property I own for security cameras and rv tv and wifi use. It’s connected to a fiber optic modem. The modem and router are both in a waterproof plastic box and are stacked sideways on top of each other with the antennas pointing up. I can’t really configure it any differently in the box. The problem is (it’s been that way for 3 years) that I have had poor reception from the router to the cameras. One camera is only a foot from the router and the other is 50’. If we have our RV parked there it’s only 40’ away. Sometimes the reception is good but more often it’s not. The cameras will often come up as poor reception or now video because of poor reception.
Is the modem being close to the router causing the issue? Or antenna array? Is there a way to see what speed is coming into the router and going out of it? Kind of a newbie with this router still. Oh and is there a way to see if the router is updated?
