Pepwave Surf Solo MK3 - admin locked out

I was doing some updates (adding a VLAN) through the admin portal and I hit save, then accept changes. The wheel just kept spinning for a long time. Tried clicking around for a bit and it froze. Tried to log back in but would not bring up login screen. Did a power cycle, tried again, no luck. Power cycle again, longer, no luck. (This is through Ethernet cable from desktop to LAN port.) Internet still works, but I can’t log in. I’m on 10.nnn.nnn.3:9010 and tried both https:// and http:// before the IP, as well as removing the port number in order to log in - all no luck.

Thoughts?

Do you have the device in incontrol2 setup? Then you could remoteadmin via IC2 to access.
Another possiblity is that a device policy is being pushed from IC2 and changing the port.

No, I never set that up.

That would set up incontrol2 https:// incontrol2.peplink.com to see if he can get into it or factory reset it

Hi Jonathan, I just set up InControl using the link you provided. Seems to work. Not sure what to do now though. I still cannot log in to the router admin page as before using Ethernet connection and I’m unfamiliar with InControl. I want to set up a VLAN for guest network. is there an online manual for incontrol? Can I download the latest configuration and then do a factory reset? I have only the original config download (I know, I know) and have done more customization since then.
