I have a client who wants to remote into his office computer from home. I was going to set up two soho routers as he has a Verizon router at the office. He wants to be able to work on Tax software and quickbooks from home and I’m not sure how the configuration should be set up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It kind of depends on how the tax software and quickbooks is accessed, but setting up two SOHO’s should work. You can create a VPN connection using PepVPN , that would allow them to act as if they are on the LAN at work.
You could also look at using L2TP to have the customer connect directly to the work network as a single user.
