Pepwave surf on the go and verizon usb 620l

I have a new verizon usb 620l and a new pepwave surf on the go, I have upgraded the pepwave to firmware 1.0.27 build 1265, it shows the IP address of the usb modem and signal strength, but it is not showing any traffic and I can not connect to internet. Laptop is tethered via Ethernet cable.

Any ideas???
