Pepwave Surf 200 (Router)

I recently was gifted a Pepwave Surf 200 (Router) that was attached to Earthlink and couldn’t access any other AP’s. I was able to overcome this by downloading the config file off another Pepwave that wasn’t for Earthlink and uploading to the Earthlinked Pepwave. Now I’m trying to get the device to act as a wireless AP itself, is there any way to do this (does the device even have the capability?) Maybe some firmware I can force on it?

We are afraid to say that we cannot support Earthlink Surf products.

All EarthLink-distributed Surf devices are custom-built for EarthLink

and its operated networks. These units are non-upgradable. They were the

property of EarthLink. Unfortunately, Pepwave is not in a position to

make any changes or support these units.

All “Surf for EarthLink” devices are sold and supported by EarthLink. If
