Pepwave BR2 / Starlink connection issue

Morning All

i have a pepwave BR2 with two starlink antennas connected to WAN 1 and WAN 2, the Starlink connected to WAN 2 connects just fine and is set to DHCP. The starlink on WAN 1 will not connect, it just says ‘Connecting’ but never actually connects.

does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is? when i connect my laptop directly into the antenna it connects straight away so there isnt an issue with the Starlink. Both WANs are configured in exactly the same way.

I have a BR2 Pro and starlink and also have similar experience.

Occasionally starlink will just stop working and when I look at the BR2 webmin I see the “Connecting…” - the only resolution I have found is to power cycle the starlink.

Is your BR2 connected directly to the Dish? Or are you using the starlink router+ethernet dongle? My BR2 is connected directly to the rectangular dish without their router in between.

We know there has been some weird port negotiation issues on other devices. Maybe it is auto negotiating here too?

I would try forcing the port to 1gbps on the support.cgi page and see if that helps.

Are you running the Starlink antennae in bridge mode? If both are doing NAT, I imagine they are both giving addresses in identical networks.

Does 1 always work? If you disconnect the one that is working, does that one that is stuck on connecting finally connect?

Do you have a switch between the BR2 and each StarLink? If so, I imagine that you would want two such switches - one for each Starlink.

what happens if you switch the two starlinks? Does the same one still misfunction?
