Pepwave AP One Mini vs. Surf On the Go

I have a Peplink Balance One, and need to extend the wifi range, so was thinking of buying an AP One Mini. But then I saw the Surf On the Go, which seems to be basically the same as the Mini but adds the USB LTE modem support. So it seems like I might as well buy the SOTG.

Is there any reason the AP one Mini is better than the SOTG?

The SOTG is a great choice because it is very flexible, you can use AP mode, repeater mode, or as a cellular router when you travel. Wi-Fi specs are the same on both.
