Pepwave AP One AC Mini out-of-the-box experience

Not a question. Not a problem. Just an FYI.

I just purchased an AP One AC mini from Amazon sold by MobileMustHave.

There is no getting started booklet or pamphlet in the box. So, I look at the label and it has two issues.

1. It provides the default WiFi password but not the default SSID. I figure out the default SSID but can not logon using the default WiFi password. Eventually, this makes sense, as the AP is in Bridge mode, not doing DHCP and I had not connected the Ethernet. So, I connect the AP to my LAN via Ethernet and, this brings up the next problem.

2. The label says to use https://192.168.0.3 but that did not work. Of course not, as the AP gets a LAN IP from my router which is not using the 192.168.0.x subnet.
The User Manual for firmware 3.9.1 also says to use this invalid IP address ( Section 5 on page 16 )

After I get in, I poke around the AP settings and run across the option for the AP to run in Router Mode or Bridge Mode or Bridge Mode without an IP address. What are the differences? Dunno, there is nothing about this in the User Manual. I searched this Forum for an explanation and came up empty.
Why program this stuff if no one is going to document it?

I try to register the AP with MobileMustHave and that fails because their registration form has no option for any AP. Their website does not even show that they sell Peplink APs. Mobile routers yes, but not APs.

Finally, I wonder about InControl2. Does the AP include the same free year of use that is provided with routers? This seems to be a secret. The User Manual says nothing, The 5GStore listing says nothing, and the Amazon listing says nothing.

Ugh.
