PepVPN over vSAT Cutoff and Suspension

What should the Cut-off latency (ms) and/or Suspension time after packet loss be set to for a vSAT link with high latency (650-800 ms)?

It appears that the tunnels continually start to be created but then fail due to “no data received” errors on the vSAT WANS.

If the vSAT is the only link in the tunnel then the cut off latency and suspension after packet loss would be ignored as the device won’t suspend the only link in the tunnel.

No data recieved errors can indicate that something is blocking the UDP data stream which by default is on port 4500. It would suggest that the handshake is working though on TCP 32015. You could (if using latest firmware) try using TCP for the data stream to see if it has better luck.

Thanks
