Balance Two’s connected via PepVPN. Connection is established. InControl2 used for set up.
Can’t ping the other side.
Location 1 - 10.1.1.1 cannot ping Location 2 - 10.1.2.1 (The Peplink Balance Two IP’s)
Right now, I’m just trying to Ping the Peplink on the other side.
Where and what routes do I need to set up?
When a standard pepVPN connection is up and healthy, you should be able to ping the LAN IP of one device from the ping tool in the webui of the other. If you can’t ping from A to B, trying pinging from B to A router using the same web ui ping tool on the other router.
If that doesn’t work, go to status PepVPN on both devices and make sure the remote networks are being advertised correctly.
Thanks for the answer. It did end up that when I went to a workstation, and pinged a device on the other end, it worked fine. I did this on both ends and everything was good. I was using the ping utility within the each peplink device which couldn’t find the other device. But from the PC’s, it worked fine which is what you want at the end of the day.
