PepVPN bridging

Hello,

We have multiple sites setup using PepVPN and have had good success. We have a couple of sites that are attached as Layer 2 VPNs. The problem occurs when the VPN goes down. The remote site peplink is set override IP using DHCP and we have to disable the DHCP server at the remote site. When the Layer 2 VPN drops, the remote site is completely down. Is there any way to have the remote site’s DHCP server kick in whenever the tunnel drops? That way all they need to do is reboot and they are back in business with Internet connectivity?

Thanks,

Danny

The DHCP server at the remote site needs to be enabled and it should kick in if the VPN goes down. DHCP clients at that site would need to obtain a new lease.
