Hi community,
I have a problem setting up PepVPN, and I hope I can get some help here.
In my NOC I’ve a Balance 580X which centralizes the connection of my talking sites.
On my remote sites I’ve differents models : Balance Core One, HD4, MAX BR1 and HD2.
Remote routers are connected by PepVPN.
On my HD2, I can’t initiate the PepVPN connection to my NOC.
Everything is configured but status remains in “Starting” on my 2 devices.
Research ending, knowledge limit reached, and I really don’t understand why it does not work, knowing that my other equipment is well connected…

The Starting Message suggests that the HD2 can’t route traffic to the B580X. What connectivity does the HD2 have?
Is there anything in the 580X event log to show that connection attempts are being made by the HD2? (I expect not).

On my HD2 a Freebox provides internet.
My WAN interface is configure with DHCP.
No log on my B580X concerning HD2 connections attemps.
One of my first check, but no results…
On local LAN (next to my HD2), my computer can connect to the remote LAN with an L2TP/IPSec VPN configured on the B580X. Maybe this info can give you some ideas about the problem.

Freebox… as a test try port forwarding TCP 32015 and UDP 4500 from your freebox to the WAN of the HD2.
It shouldn’t need this depending on how your PepVPN is configured. YOu can also PM me and I’ll take a look via InControl if you like.
I find solution ! 
I tried to configure ports on my Freebox but it didn’t change anything.
On the other hand, I came across a forum which talked about PepVPN version related to firmware.
My HD2 were not at all up to date while my B580X is brand new so up to date…
HD2 updated, PepVPN goes up immediately !
