Firmware 8.1 Feature Deep Dive
Peplink devices can now serve as a local NTP server to provide connected clients the accurate time. Peplink can get the time from either an external NTP server or via GPS ensuring there will always be a way for Peplink to deliver accurate time even without Internet connectivity or GPS.
This allows you to streamline your network and save costs.

Drop-in Mode is Peplink’s transparent bridging mode that allows you to seamlessly and easily slot your Peplink Router into an existing network without having to change the configuration on preexisting appliances, much like enabling a cloaking device for your Peplink.
