Peplink Pepwave On-The-Go PPTP, L2TP or OpenVPN VPN Support?

Hello,

I have done some searching and can’t seem to find the answer. Does the Peplink Pepwave Surf On-The-Go support any of the listed VPN protocols in the subject line? Under the config page, the only VPN I am seeing is the PepVPN.

I am just trying to secure my connection to an open wifi access point in a campground.

Pat, I have the same question. I have not been able to find the answer either!

What is it you are trying to do? To connect to an AP you would not use a VPN connection…

As far as what I am trying to do is use the Peplink On-The Go to connect to a campground access point. Then create a seperate wireless network for all of my devices. Ideally, I want to be able to connect the Peplink to a VPN service(I use NORD VPN) to secure my connection to the campground public wifi. This way all of the devices in my camper are going through a secure VPN connection.

The Surf OTG only supports our PepVPN site-to-site VPN technology. You will not be able to connect it directly to a VPN service and you will just need to install the client VPN service directly on your PC instead.
