Peplink Connection via L3 MPLS

HI All

I’ve an issue with peplink installation, I’ve installed peplink with that topology. Peplink HO can reach Peplink Branch, but Peplink Branch cannot reach Peplink HO. We cannot add or check static route on 3rd party. Are its possible to add static route in peplink WAN Port ?

Firstly, no you can’t add a static route wan side, only lan side.

However… I’m not sure that would help you anyway, as its all private IPs on that side and so the connection wouldn’t be able to get through.

A Speedfusion tunnel hover, should be able to push out from the HO router to the branch without issues, and then your traffic from the branch to HO can go through that tunnel, no problem.

Hi Bryn

Actually I still cant create tunnel betwen Peplink HO and Branch, due to peplink on branch cannot reach peplink HO

How are you trying to create the tunnel- in InControl2, or directly on the device?

If you create it in InControl2, select Point to Point, use the branch as the hub (as it has a directly accessible IP) and then the HO router should be able to connect out to the branch.

Is there any sort of router, firewall or port filtering in front of the branch router from another device or your ISP?

I create configure directly on the device.
There are no router or firewall in front of branch, actually I can ping branch WAN IP from HO, but from branch I cannot ping HO WAN IP

Ok, and have you put the branch office IP address into the remote IP address field on the HO router?

Already, but the tunnel status only starting
