I gave up on my Peplink Balance One a long time ago due to its lack of IPv6 support and other issues.
Today I decided to install it again and it is impossible to upgrade to the newest firmware.
If I try to download and install the new firmware automatically it just goes back to the screen that says “Current firmware version: 8.0.0 Firmware check pending”.
If I try to upgrade with the firmware file I just downloaded from the official website it says “Error: Invalid firmware image.”
It makes me remember why I abandoned Peplink in the first place…
