Peplink balance 310X : LAN port to WAN port

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the community and I don’t know if a topic regarding this specific case already exists, if so, excuse me.

I wanted to know if it was possible to convert a LAN port on the Peplink balance 310x into a WAN port and if not, how to add WAN ports.

Hi,

You can buy Virtual WAN licences and map them to a VLAN then map the VLAN to a LAN port in access mode.

In addition to what @Venn pointed out you also have the option of using the USB port with an ethernet adapter/dongle. Works well but is limited to “USB speed.” (There is no cost to doing this.)
